Kanye West Renames 'Theraflu' 'Way Too Cold'

More than a week after the cold and flu relief company objected to Kanye West's use of their brand in his song "Theraflu," West has announced that he's changing the track's name.

"Today, Kanye announces the creative decision to title the track 'Way Too Cold,'" reads a statement on West's website. The announcement does not mention Theraflu's objections to the previous title.

In addition to flak from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, whose ire West provoked with a line about his mink dragging on the floor, the track prompted a quick repudiation from the medicine makers. "We in no way endorse or approve of the references or use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this manner," a company representative told TMZ on April 5, just after the track's release.

West has also changed the album's cover art, replacing the Theraflu packaging with a plain white bottle.
