LL Cool J Foils Home Invasion

LL Cool J foiled a home invasion this morning, TMZ reports, after a burglar broke in to the rapper's Los Angeles house around 2 a.m. PDT and tripped the alarm system. LL Cool J encountered the intruder when the rapper went to investigate the ruckus he heard downstairs. Although the police were on their way to make the arrest, the rapper didn't wait around: he reportedly broke the man's nose and jaw in a fight.

A rep for LL Cool J said the rapper is unharmed and "is committed to keeping his family safe and is cooperating with authorities."
