    Find Out Who Made Barbara Walters' 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012

    They drew the biggest crowd in Today show history last week. Their new album is set to debut atop the Billboard 200 album chart. And they're even linked to Taylor Swift!

    Now, One Direction has been named one of Barbara Walters' 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012 list, ABC announced Monday.

    Other picks include Ben Affleck, Family Guy creator and next year's Oscars host Seth MacFarlane and Olympian Gabby Douglas. Also making the cut are 50 Shades of Grey author EL James, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and New Jersey Governor (and recent SNL guest) Chris Christie. Does that mean his signature fleece will also make an appearance? We can only hope!

    That leaves three spots yet to be revealed, including the No. 1 Most Fascinating Person of 2012.

    Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012 airs Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.
