Nicki Minaj Deletes Her Twitter Account

Nicki Minaj has deleted her Twitter account on Saturday following a dispute with some of her followers, MTV News reports. The rapper was furious with the Minaj fan site NickiDaily.com for posting snippets from her new album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, claiming that they were "leaking" her music. Minaj blasted the site on Twitter, and then tweeted "Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good fucking bye" before deactivating her account.

NickiDaily.com has since shut down, with the owners stripping all content from the site aside from a loop of the rapper's song "Dear Old Nicki," in which she raps to her younger self. As can be expected, Minaj's legion of fans – known as Barbies – were distraught about her leaving the social media platform. The rapper has 30 days to reconsider leaving the site before the account is deactivated permanently.
