"Magical" is how P!nk described her past 18 months -- which included the release of her first No. 1 album, "The Truth About Love"; another Hot 100 chart-topper, with the Nate Ruess duet "Just Give Me a Reason"; and a blockbuster tour that traversed the globe -- on the red carpet at Billboard's Women In Music luncheon on Tuesday (Dec. 10), where the singer-songwriter accepted the Woman of the Year award. Before receiving the honor, P!nk chatted with Billboard's Jason Lipshutz about the award, her upcoming performance at the Grammys, and what she'll remember most from the past year.
"Having my family on the road, and just all the magical places we've been," P!nk said to the latter question. "And 'Disney on Ice,' probably!"
After gushing about Rising Star of the Year winner Janelle Monáe ("I think she's really unique and so, so super-talented"), P!nk once again confirmed that she will be performing at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards next month, where she and Ruess are nominated for Song of the Year with "Just Give Me a Reason" (the singer previously "let the cat out of the bag," as she put it, during her Woman of the Year cover Q&A).
"I'm always excited about being invited to the Grammys," said P!nk, "and performing is my favorite reason to go."
