Questlove: Justin Timberlake '20/20 Experience' Volume Two Due This Year

After keeping fans waiting years for a new album, Justin Timberlake could return in mere months with the follow-up. Roots drummer Questlove said in an Okayplayer chat board posting over the weekend that Timberlake would release a second volume of The 20/20 Experience later this year, writing, "spoiler alert. 20/20 Vol 2 comes out in nov. (10 songs now . . . 10 songs later= 20 vision)."

SXSW 2013: Justin Timberlake Brings Hard-Rock Energy to His Austin Set

Questlove would be in a position to know: he spent last week with Timberlake on the set of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, and performed a DJ set before Timberlake performed Saturday night at SXSW in Austin. "He played me songs out of order and off both records so i don't know what made the final cut," Questlove said in the web post.

The 20/20 Experience, which comes out this week, is Timberlake's first release since FutureSex/LoveSounds in 2006. He's spent much of the past few weeks promoting the album, performing in New Orleans during Super Bowl weekend and hosting Saturday Night Live for the fifth time, in addition to appearing for a full week on Fallon and performing at SXSW.
