Rilo Kiley Hint at 'Almost Finished' Record

After a two-year break, Rilo Kiley has a new project in the works. "Record is almost finished, and artwork is nearly done," the indie-pop band wrote on Facebook. "Going to need your help! More to come."

The band had been on hiatus for the past couple years, with drummer Jason Boesel first revealing the break in 2010. Last summer, guitarist and singer Blake Sennett said the band had actually broken up, and admitted he abandoned the group after touring behind their last album, 2007's Under the Blacklight. Frontwoman Jenny Lewis has stayed active since Under the Blacklight, releasing a solo record and an album as Jenny and Johnny with boyfriend Johnathan Rice.

It's unclear if Rilo Kiley is talking about an album of brand-new material, or if the record will consist of unreleased tracks recording during the band's run. "I think we're going to try and release a two-disc set of 40 songs, or something," Sennett told Rolling Stone last year.
