Country star Brad Paisley will take the stage with the Rolling Stones on June 18th for the first of their two shows at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
The Stones made the announcement yesterday on Twitter, making Paisley the latest guest to join the band on their "50 and Counting" tour. Last night, blues guitarist Gary Clark Jr. took the stage to play "Going Down" with the band. The rockers have also featured guest spots by Arcade Fire singer Win Butler on "The Last Time," Katy Perry on "Beast of Burden," Tom Waits for "Little Red Rooster," Sheryl Crow on "All Down the Line," Dave Grohl on "Bitch" and Taylor Swift for a "As Tears Go By."
Paisley released his latest album, Wheelhouse, in April, and caused a bit of a stir with the single "Accidental Racist," which features LL Cool J. No word yet on what Stones song Paisley will sit in on, but given his pedigree, perhaps a rendition of "Country Honk" is in order.
