Undercover Julius Caesar stirs up trouble at rebel camp on 'Spartacus: War of the Damned' [Exclusive video]

Tensions are running high on "Spartacus: War of the Damned" as Spartacus's rebellion inches ever closer to confrontation with the powerful Crassus (Simon Merrells), whose mission to destroy the rebels is merciless. Now that Julius Caesar (Todd Lasance) has infiltrated the camp, trouble is reaching its tipping point.

In this exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming episode "Blood Brothers," Nemetes (Ditch Davey) tosses Caesar a sword and is clearly convinced that he's trustworthy. After all, Caesar did help Nemetes kill a rebellious slave, proving his loyalty -- or so Nemetes thinks.

When an already tense Crixus (Manu Bennett) overhears Nemetes and the covert Caesar discussing Spartacus's absence, it's clear that he has not recovered from his disagreement with Spartacus over how to lead the rebels -- and neither has Crixus's partner (romantic and otherwise) Naevia (Cynthia Addai-Robinson). Looks like these two lovebird-warriors might still be considering striking out on their own.

A satisfied, even smug-looking Caesar suggests they all ease up and partake in some drink. This revelry is sure to be short-lived.

Will Spartacus's plan to weaken Crassus's forces be foiled by dissent in the rebellion's ranks? Find out on Friday, 3/1 at 9 PM on Starz.
