Vampire Weekend, Tegan and Sara Added to SXSW Lineup

Vampire Weekend and Tegan and Sara were among hundreds of acts added yesterday to the lineup for this year's South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin. Other notable acts added to the six-day gathering include Black Lips, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Frightened Rabbit and Icona Pop.

This most recent batch adds to the hundreds of acts already announced last fall, and brings the festival's total to nearly 1,300 bands. The full list of groups includes musicians from around the globe and across the spectrum of popular recognition. This year's music festival runs from March 12th-17th, and will feature a keynote speech from Dave Grohl.
