American people spend way to much time in thinking up criticism of someone they don't even know, gossiping and being mean and critical is just awful...don't you realize that you may hurt that persons feelings..be kind as... Karma is always just around the corner! I love who I am and that is all that matters to me...!

Has she gained weight ? Obviously . Is she discustingly fat? No . shes chunky . BUUT . this is really not flattering for her body type D:

Good for her! not everyone needs to be super thin to feel good and many people forgot about that. she is still beautiful no matter what! you go girl!

That's all well and good, but do you have to go out in public in nothing but a tee shirt and fishnet stockings? No pants? Really? It was crude and vulgar, and tasteless.

And just what or who gives any of you all the right to judge & devalue these women or anyone else who is overweight? Making comments like fat = ugly and the like... Until you are perfect and flawless, which i can guarantee you none of you ever were OR EVER WILL BE, or until you have walked a mile in an overweight persons shoes to know exactaly what it is that you are talking about, you have absolutely no business making this kind of comment!

It's kinda weird, but when people say stuff like "real women have curves", what about the girls who are naturally skinny and don't do anything, but are skinny anyways? It kinda makes me feel bad, cause then I don't feel like a women. =( How bout "real women love themselves for who they are" ? =)

I think that some people are missing the point. People think that someone HAS to be thin to be considered "healthy". I know people who are considered "fat" and they can outrun thinner people! They have more endurance and more stamina. They just so happen to be bigger. Just because someone is thin doesn't mean that they are healthy. Thin people can eat food thats bad too. They can also be completely out of shape, or not even able to jog/run for a minute a time.

Guys should have no reason to judge. Take a look at yourselves. You expect all girls to be stick thin, tan, and hot, when you yourselves are chubby, hairy, and act like pigs. If you want to judge women, change yourself first.

I just feel bittered to this kind of articles. It is all about normes in society. For example, Barbie-doll has proportions which are impossible for a human being, and it is so sad that children are taught that beauty has to look that way. No, the beauty comes from the inside. I can say Adelle looks great because she has a special kind of aura and she is really emotional. ;-)

I agree that carrying excess weight on one's body can be unhealty, but what's bad for one doesn't necessarily affect someone else the same way. As far as weight not being beautiful; I blame the media for that concept because we're taught by the media from as early as we can start learning, what a beautiful person looks like. Movies, commercials, ads, TV, they all saturate the screen with lythe hot bodies and ultra beautiful faces, leading us to believe that they are what we should strive for in ourselves, and as if those lovely perfect faces and bodies exist the way the are just because they are. Have you ever seen many celebrities up close and personal in real life? I have, and NONE of the ones I've seen are nearly as perfect looking in real life as the appear in the media. They look just like everyone else, blemishes and flaws included. It would behoove us all to remember that "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder". Big people included!

I agree don't allow HOLLYWOOD & THE MEDIA to stop you from being you. If you're happy with who you are that's all that matters.

She was definitely too thin in Burlesque, but she has maybe gained too much back at one time...I wish she'd do something about her hair though, she was much prettier with the more "natural" style.

we do have a problem espcially here in NA with obesity and health, if shes not hurting her health then its fine, but I do find alot of people in denial about their size and how it is going to kill them or severly hurt them and have alot of negative side effects including quality of life issues. i know because obesity caused my dad to have an early death and I fight with it every day. i am far from an underwear model, but i dont care about that in my stage of the game. we need to stay healthy though and I think that is something we should never lose focus of. I liked her comment about getting heck for being on both sides of the scale, too true. the media are fickle and foolish! glad to hear shes happy.

Thank you. I think every person is beautiful some where inside. Christina has a great voice and she loves her curves I do. I am thin but hey I have a little. Anyways she looks great and to have confidence to wear that is wonderful. If she wore baggy clothes you guys would say something negative as well. If you don't like her don't click on her picture.

Hmm why do I get the feeling that she likes her body know because she feels it makes her look more like Marilyn Monroe? C'mon it's pretty obvious she tries to emulate Marilyn in several different ways, she has been trying to be like Marilyn for quite a few years now..has even stated in interviews that she is one of her idols.

Christina has a naturally very petite frame, and I remember a long time ago when she was slim saying in an interview, that she eats so much trying to gain weight and she nevr gains a pound..She was saying this because people were claiming she was anorexic but the truth is she's ALWAYS been petite and very slim, with a small frame..So seeing her like this it almost looks as though she's overeating on purpose.

It's not a good look on her and sorry to say, but it makes her look unhealthy.
I'ts not because she's had a kid, many women who are petite and have children, are still slim/petite after they have children.

Marilyn was curvy/larger boned/taller than Christina, wheras Christina now looks like she's plain trying to gain weight to be "curvy", so Chistina stop trying to look like Marilyn it's not working for you! You looked much healthier, were much cuter, and better before when you had your own style.
