In this Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 photo, National Public Radio host and journalist Michelle Norris holds one of the "Race Cards" that was sent to her by Maureen Folk, of Potsdam, N.Y., in her home in Washington where she is archiving her Race Card Project. Norris was on a book tour two years ago, and started passing out postcards a dozen or so at a time, asking people to share six words that express their thoughts about race.
