Rob Zombie In The 'House' With Lionel Richie And Trina

(2/6/03, 5 p.m. ET) -- Rob Zombie has teamed up with Lionel Richie and female rapper Trina for "Brickhouse 2003," a version of the '70s pop and R&B hit. The Zombified track will appear as part of the soundtrack for Zombie's movie House Of 1000 Corpses, which hits stores March 18. The soundtrack will also feature five new Rob Zombie tunes.

Zombie maintains that by being involved in movies and other projects, he hasn't shied away from his music career. "This isn't necessarily the follow-up in any way, but the soundtrack to House Of 1000 Corpses has five new songs on it," Zombie said. "So, that's some new music on the way. I just did a new song with three guys from Drowning Pool on the Daredevil soundtrack. There's obviously the Ramones song I did on the Ramones record, and now we're going to start probably writing a song for the new Matrix movie. So that's the new music on the horizon until I get to making a full album proper, but that's enough music to fill a whole album, actually."

Other Zombie tunes on the soundtrack for House Of 1000 Corpses include "'Run, Rabbit, Run," "Little Piggy," "House Of 1000 Corpses," "Everybody Scream!," and "Pussy Liquor." House Of 1000 Corpses: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, also features the Ramones' "Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue," Buck Owens' "Who's Gonna Mow Your Grass," Helen Kane's "I Just Want To Be Loved By You," and the Slim Whitman interpretation of the '40s standard, "I Remember You."

Zombie joined with the remaining members of Drowning Pool for "The Man Without Fear," for Daredevil, and he recorded a version of "Blitzkrieg Bop" for the We're A Happy Family Ramones tribute album, which hits stores February 11.
