(6/8/00, 1 p.m. ET) - Sister Hazel will embark on a tour in support of its forthcoming album, Fortress, which will be released June 27.

The tour starts June 29 in Tampa, Florida, and runs through August 3 in Nashville. More dates will be announced. Singer and co-songwriter Ken Block told LAUNCH that performing at a non-traditional type of venue in his home time may just be his favorite show ever.

"There's an event in our home town. . .We're from Gainesville, Florida, and the University of Florida is there, and four of us went there and I grew up there as well as Andrew and I used to sell Cokes in that football stadium and sneak in and all kinds of stuff," Block said. "Well, they have the world's largest student-run pep-rally, which is 70-plus thousand people. We went from selling Cokes to being the surprise guests at Gatorgrowl and having 70,000 people in my hometown singing back every word to every song we were playing, and it was absolutely remarkable."

He added that he had "chill bumps like you can't believe."
