Ice T Preparing For New Album, Costner Film

(1/26/01, 1 p.m. ET) - Ice T is working on a new album, The Eighth Wonder: The Ice Age, which is scheduled to be released by the end of 2001.
Ice T released a greatest hits package in 2000 and his seventh album, Seventh Deadly Sin, in 1999.
The Los Angeles gangster-rap pioneer currently stars on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He was one of the first rappers to make the transition to acting, with his role as a police officer in 1991's New Jack City being a breakthrough role for rapper-actors.
Since then, he has appeared in more than 25 films. Ice T will be seen later this year in 3000 Miles To Graceland, which also stars Kevin Costner.
