(10/30/02, 6 p.m. ET) -- Aaliyah's "Miss You" is the first single from her posthumous album, I Care 4 U, due out December 10 on Blackground/Universal Records. In addition to "Miss You," the album will feature other unreleased tracks as well as previously issued selections.
In the ballad released online this week, the late singer sulks about losing her high school sweetheart to college. She sings, "It's been too long and I'm lost without you."
Proceeds from the album will partially benefit the Aaliyah Memorial Fund, which makes contributions to the Revlon UCLA Women Cancer Research Program and the Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Harlem.
"I Care 4 U" is also the title of her single that has held the Number Four position on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart for the last several weeks.
Aaliyah was killed in a plane crash in August 2001.
