(6/2/00, 4 p.m. ET) - After landing international acclaim with the "Bad Touch," the Bloodhound Gang is set to release its follow-up single, "Mope," on June 12. An accompanying video has already been shot for the track and will begin airing shortly.

Frontman Jimmy Pop and guitarist Lupus Thunder explained why the band chose the song to be the next single. "What happened was that this new album we have came out in Europe about six months ago," Pop said. "So in Europe we're working on our fifth or sixth single, and here we needed something that was kind of clean so that MTV, America, and the English people could show it. So we chose this song because there's not a lot of curse words. It's another dumb song."

Added Thunder, "Just a little PacMan smoking crack."

The Bloodhound Gang just wrapped up its tour last week and are currently taking a break from touring. The band hopes to go out next with No Doubt.
