Jacksons Back With Michael

(4/10/98) - The Jacksons, including Michael Jackson, have reunited and begun work on a new album for A&M Records.

The album, which has the working title J5, features Jackie, Randy Jackson, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael. The Jackson family hasn't released an album collectively since 1989's 2300 Street, which featured Jermaine, Jackie, Tito and Randy; Michael hasn't recorded an album with his brothers since the release of 1984's Victory.

A&M senior VP John McClain, a lifelong friend to the Jackson family and instrumental in A&M's recent high-profile push with rappers Ice Cube, Shaquille O'Neal and Kurupt, is the mastermind of the Jackson deal.
