(10/7/98, 6 p.m. PDT) - The track listing for The Rugrats Movie Soundtrack Album--due Nov. 3 on Interscope--is complete, and it features some heavy-hitters from a variety of musical genres.

The album's first single, "Take Me There," teams Blackstreet and Mya and features Mase and Blinky Blink.

Other notable collaborations include No Doubt with Elvis Costello on the Costello-penned "She Throws Her Toys Around," which was written specifically for the film. Also contributing songs are Lisa Loeb ("All Day"), Busta Rhymes ("On Your Marks, Get Set, Ready, Go!"), Rakim ("Take The Train"), and 1,000 Clowns with Lisa Stone ("Wild Ride").

The highlight of the album, however, is likely "This World Is Something New To Me," written by Devo frontman and Rugrats composer Mark Mothersbaugh. It features an allstar cast of musicians playing the role of babies in a hospital nursery. Lending their voices to the track are Laurie Anderson, the B-52's, Beck, Cypress Hill's B-Real, the Wallflowers' Jakob Dylan, the Violent Femmes' Gordon Gano, Lenny Kravitz, Lisa Loeb, A Tribe Called Quest's Phife, Iggy Pop, Lou Rawls, former En Vogue member Dawn Robinson, and Patti Smith.

Although Rugrat Angelica has been known to exclaim, "Dumb babies!" on the television show, veteran rocker Iggy Pop has a different take. Says the Igster, "It's really cool to be a baby."

Features on Iggy Pop, Mya, Mase, No Doubt, the B-52's, the Wallflowers and Lenny Kravitz are up now on myLAUNCH. Features on Elvis Costello, 1,000 Clowns, A Tribe Called Quest and En Vogue are coming soon.
