Aaliyah's 'Miss You' Coming Out On Enhanced CD

(4/4/03, 1 p.m. ET) -- Late singer Aaliyah's top-10 hit, "Miss You," will be released on a special enhanced CD on April 29. The enhanced CD will include "Miss You (Remix)" featuring Jay-Z, a personal tribute from Jay-Z to Aaliyah, and the star-studded video for "Miss You."
A portion of the proceeds from sales of the enhanced CD will go to the Aaliyah Memorial Foundation, which benefits the Revlon/UCLA Women's Cancer Research Program and Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
In related news, a new Aaliyah single, "Come Over" featuring Tank, will be released in the coming weeks from the deceased singer's latest album, I Care 4 U. Tank shared that he was landing in Chicago in August of 2001 when he learned of the death of his close friend Aaliyah, and that her death has changed him. "I was just landing in Chicago and we were supposed to do some interviews and what have you, and I got the news," Tank said. "And I don't know...It just changed everything. It changed my outlook on everything, you know?"
