No Doubt Plans New York City Show Next Week

(2/21/03, 7 a.m. ET) -- No Doubt has announced a New York City concert for Monday (February 24). The one-off show takes place at the Hammerstein Ballroom, with tickets available through Ticketmaster. Canadian indie rock band Hot Hot Heat has been tapped as the opening act.
No Doubt will also be in New York this weekend to attend the Grammy Awards. Although the group will not perform at that event, bassist Tony Kanal will be part of the ceremony's tribute to Joe Strummer and the Clash. Kanal will join Bruce Springsteen, E Street Band guitarist Little Steven, and Elvis Costello in the salute.
The Grammys will air live from Madison Square Garden on Sunday (February 23) starting at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
