Vince Gill Says Valentine's Day Is About 'Being Respectful'

(2/14/03, 7 a.m. ET) -- Vince Gill has been hot on the promotional trail this week talking about his just-released new album, Next Big Thing. On Friday (February 14), the singer will take a break from the chatter to perform some of his most romantic songs for fans at Boston's Paradise Club.
Gill recently told LAUNCH what Valentine's Day means to him and his wife, Amy Grant. "It's just about, you know, being respectful," Gill said. "I think at this stage of life, I think it's easy to look back and go, 'Boy, I messed up, I messed up, I messed up...' But just continue to try to put your best foot forward and be a good companion and be kind...be all those things if you can, it makes it all the sweeter."
Gill's latest single, "Next Big Thing," sits at Number 18 this week on Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.
