Sister Hazel Talks NBA Playoffs

(5/5/00, 7 a.m. ET) - Sister Hazel stopped by the LAUNCH studios to talk about its forthcoming album, Fortress, and the first single off the album, "Change Your Mind." However, the talk quickly turned to basketball. Singer-songwriter Ken Block told LAUNCH that he'll be paying attention to tonight's fifth and deciding game (May 5) between the Sacramento Kings and the favored Los Angeles Lakers.

"I'm right now a Sacramento Kings fan," he said. "[Kings guard] Jason Williams played down in Florida and it's really nice to see that. I will say [Laker coach] Phil Jackson. . . I'm a fan of Phil Jackson in that he's a remarkable guy, and his take and his spirituality and his ability to get marquee players and egos to say, 'Hey man, let's get behind the car and push it instead of all pulling in different directions' has been remarkable."
