N.W.A Reunites For 'Next Friday'

(11/19/99, 6 p.m. ET) - 10 years after its groundbreaking album Straight Outta Compton, members of controversial gangsta rap group N.W.A have reunited. According to a spokesperson, original members Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, MC Ren, and DJ Yella--along with Snoop Dogg, filling in for the late Eazy E--have returned to the studio in Los Angeles to create a new song titled, "Chin Check."

"Chin Check" will be on the forthcoming soundtrack for Ice Cube's latest movie, Next Friday, which will be released via Priority Records on Dec. 14. Next Friday is the sequel to Ice Cube's smash cult favorite Friday, and will be in theaters in January.
