Orgy Eager To Mount Full Production

(12/13/00, 12 p.m. ET) - Orgy is on the radio festival circuit in support of its latest album, Vapor Transmission, and the hit single "Fiction (Dreams In Digital)." However, guitarist Ryan Shuck told LAUNCH that radio shows are not the best representation of Orgy in live performance.
"We're getting there with our light show and everything keeping pace and making it look electric and the whole vibe," he explained, "kind of a Blade Runner vibe. The problem is that a lot of these radio shows, when you're doing these tours, you can't bring your own production with you because it's not cost effective at all. If you're only going to play three Orgy shows and 20 radio shows, you kinda can't really do the Orgy show. You kinda have to go out there in the same run-of-the-mill stage that every band has to use and still get your vibe across."
After an off day tomorrow (December 13), Orgy is back out on the road to play a radio show at Seattle's Key Arena Thursday (December 14).
