Grandpaboy's Secret Identity Revealed!

(8/13/97) - Replacements legend Paul Westerberg, who just officially signed with Capitol Records, has just released a five-song EP under the puzzling pseudonym Grandpaboy. The self-titled EP, out on the Boston indie label Monolyth/Soundproof, includes the tracks "Hot Un," "Ain't Done Much," "Psychopharmacology," "Lush and Green," "Homelesssexual" and the single "Give Me My Money Back," which was released in May. Though Westerberg's name doesn't appear anywhere on the record, Grandpaboy's secret identity still didn't remain secret for very long.
