(8/21/00, 1 p.m. ET) - Fastball will road test songs from its upcoming album, The Harsh Light Of Day, on a series of club dates across the country beginning at the renowned Viper Room in West Hollywood, California, on Monday night (August 21). The Austin, Texas, trio will play at least 15 gigs in three weeks, concluding with a show in Dallas on September 13. The band will likely play tunes from its last album, All The Pain Money Can Buy, as well as those from the soon-to-be-released album. LAUNCH asked drummer Joey Shuffield, bassist/singer Tony Scalzo, and guitarist/vocalist Miles Zuniga if any of the older songs have undergone changes when performed in concert. "We changed the beginning of one of the songs a little bit," said Shuffield. "I think some of the songs will probably change as we start to go on tour and fool around with them," added Zuniga.
