(10/19/98, 6 p.m. PDT) - According to the Columbia and Comedy Central websites, Master P, Primus, Tim McGraw, and Devo are the only acts that have been officially confirmed on Chef Aid: The South Park Album, due Nov. 24 on American Recordings. Still, the album, helmed by American label chief/ producer Rick Rubin, has generated its far share of rumors, including talk of a possible collaboration between Rancid and former Clash frontman Joe Strummer. While the folks at American and Columbia Records are still remaining mum on the project, a reliable source has provided us with a partial artist roster and track listing that includes Rancid without Strummer. The Clash man, however, is featured on the album, backed the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea, X's DJ Bonebrake, Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello, and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers' Benmont Tench. Several of these artists were mentioned last night on Comedy Central's Behind The Menu: Chef mockumentary. Also tentatively included is a collaborative effort between the Crystal Method, Ozzy Osbourne, DMX, Ol' Dirty Bastard, and Fuzzbubble on a track that has been identified as "Vapor Trail" and "Nowhere To Run." Another allstar track, "Will They Die For You," features Mase, Puff Daddy, Lil' Kim, and System Of A Down, while old-school groove-masters Rick James and Ike Turner join forces on "Love Gravy." Among others delivering tracks are Wyclef Jean, Elton John, Prodigy, and former Jane's Addiction/ Porno For Pyros frontman Perry Farrell. Also set to be included is a cover of the 1977 Styx's hit "Come Sail Away" performed by the voice of South Park character Cartman. Here's the partial, unconfirmed track listing for Chef Aid: The Sound Park Album: "Kenny's Dead" - Master P "Simultaneous" - Chef (Isaac Hayes) "Brad Logan" - Rancid "Come Sail Away" - Cartman "Bubblegoose" - Wyclef Jean "No Substitute" -Chef "Nowhere To Run" - Crystal Method, Ozzy Osbourne, DMX, Ol' DirtyBastard & Fuzzbubble "Hot Lava" - Perry Farrell "Will They Die For You" - Mase, Puff Daddy, Lil' Kim & System Of A Down "Love Gravy" - Rick James & Ike Turner "Wake Up Wendy" - Elton John "Chocolate Salty Balls--PS I Love You" - Chef "Haboon Stomp" - Devo "Horny Horny Horny" - Mousse T "Tonight Is Right For Love" - Chef & Meat Loaf "Diesel Power" - Prodigy "The Rainbow" - Ween "It's a Rockin' World" - Joe Strummer, Flea, DJ Bonebrake, Brenden O'Brien, Tom Morello & Benmont Tench "Feel Like Makin' Love" - Mad "Setting Sun" (remix) - Chemical Brothers "South Park Theme" - Primus "Kyle's Mom Is A Big Fat Bitch" (hidden track) - Cartman
