(5/4/01, 1 p.m. ET) -- Sisqo debuted at Number 10 on Billboard's Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart this week with "Can I Live," the first release from his sophomore solo album Return Of The Dragon. The song features background vocals from his protege group LovHer, which includes four female singers who have a recording deal with Def Soul.
While doing press for Dru Hill's Enter The Dru in 1998, Sisqo told LAUNCH that LovHer was a female version of Dru Hill: "When they went to practice the songs, they didn't listen to Destiny's Child or En Vogue or nothing. And other than practicing female songs, they've been practicing all of our songs because I wanted their harmony to be unique. They will probably be the first female group with this particular style of harmony. Basically, if you ever wondered what Dru Hill was going to be like if they were girls, here they come."
LovHer will appear in the "Can I Live" video, which was tapped last weekend. Sisqo's Return Of The Dragon is scheduled to be released June 19.
