Ralph Tresvant And Johnny Gill To Star In Play

(2/15/01, 7 a.m. ET) -- Former New Edition members Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill will star in the play Listen To Your Woman, which debuts March 20 at Miami's Gusman Center. Gill and Tresvant are currently in rehearsals for the play that also stars Quan Howell from the Sounds Of Blackness and comedian Earthquake.
The play is about a woman named Lorraine, who is pursued by her ex, but remains faithful to her husband even though he is a habitual gambler and adulterer. The play was written by Mike Matthews, who is responsible for a series of successful gospel dramas.
In addition to being members of seminal '80s R&B boy band New Edition, Tresvant and Gill both enjoyed successful solo careers. Gill is also a member of R&B group LSG, with Gerald Levert and Keith Sweat.
