Everlast Honors Whitey Ford, Will Attend Madonna Bash

(11/1/00, 7 a.m. ET) - Everlast attended the birthday party for Whitey Ford, the famed New York Yankees pitcher, on October 21. The rap-rocker has paid homage to the southpaw by having Ford's name on two albums, Whitey Ford Sings The Blues and the recently released Eat At Whitey's.
Everlast was certainly celebrating when the Yankees beat their cross-town rivals the New York Mets. He returns to the home of the Yankees, New York City, on Sunday (November 5) to play Madonna's party at Roseland Ballroom.
Everlast has also been invited to the attend the birthday of former Knicks basketball great Earl "The Pearl" Monroe on November 21.
