Arrest Made In Cam'ron Cohort Shooting

(5/1/03, 3 p.m. ET) -- Chauncey Dillon of Brooklyn, New York has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection with the shoot-out last Friday (April 25) which left 28-year-old Eric Mangrum, dead, and rapper Freakey Zekey of the Diplomats, wounded.
Twenty nine-year-old Dillon was arrested early Wednesday (April 30) but according to police spokesman Sgt. Kevin Hayes, the investigation is still ongoing.
Freakey Zekey, whose real name is Ezekiel Jiles, suffered gunshot wounds to the abdomen and chest and was listed in stable condition at New York's St. Vincent Hospital.
According to police, Freakey Zekey, Mangrum, and two other men riding in a white Jeep Cherokee were involved in a collision with four men and a women riding in a silver sedan outside of a popular Chelsea nightclub at approximately 3:00 a.m. on Friday.
An argument followed which led to pushing and shoving and eventually gunplay. Police officers recovered a 9mm handgun in a garbage container, as well as several 40-caliber castings.
