(10/25/01, 4 p.m. ET) -- Rapper-actress Rah Digga is currently putting the finishing touches on the new Flipmode Squad album, The Rulership, which is due out early next year. The set features collaborations with Pink and Snoop Dogg, but Digga is busting at the seams with excitement over the release of her big screen debut, 13 Ghosts, which hits theatres today (October 26). Rah Digga, who plays the role of Maggie in the film, is joined by Tony Shalhoub, Embeth Davidtz, Matthew Lillard, Shannon Elizabeth, and Alec Roberts in the Steve Beck-directed horror flick.
LAUNCH recently spoke with Rah Digga, who shared that Lillard was especially helpful in getting her pumped up during filming. "By the time I got with Matthew Lillard in the movie, like, this is the part of the movie where everybody separates. You know you're suppose to stick together, but everybody, 'Hey, you go this way and I go that way.' I actually had to go off with Matthew Lillard. He was so helpful, like, getting me amped like right before the director. They're like, 'Sound, speeding, rolling.' He's, like, 'Come on, Rah! Get it up! Get it up!' Going crazy, and I'm, like, 'I'm up! I'm up!' They're like, 'And action! And aaah!' You know, we gotta be already in motion screaming, running down the hall, so I just want to big him up. He was definitely helpful to me," she said.
