Ben Folds Five Song Not For Prime Time

(12/17/97) - Ben Folds may be lamenting his choice of timing in song lyrics.

MTV and M2 will simultaneously air the Ben Folds Five's "Brick" video at the insomniac hour of 6am, the day after Christmas. The occasion? A subtle nod to the song's first line, "It's 6am the day after Christmas."

The song, which concerns a couple traveling to a scheduled abortion, is the third single off BF5's 550 Records album Whatever And Ever Amen. Folds, set to go back on the road in February, will appear on the David Letterman Show tonight (Wednesday, December 17th) and on Saturday Night Live January 10th.
