(8/18/98, 1 p.m. PDT) -- Astralwerks acts the Chemical Brothers and Air will be breaking new ground in America this Fall. Acclaimed French duo Air are set to perform for the first time in America when they launch a short tour of the States on October 11 at Aero Space in Seattle.

Meanwhile, the Chemicals will show off their DJ skills for the first time in the U.S. when they launch their own trek September 12 at the Showbox in Seattle. The Chems week-long tour of DJing gigs is in support of the duo's DJ mix CD, Brothers Gonna Work It Out, which is due September 22 on Freestyle Dust/ Astralwerks.

For their dates, Air will be joined by members of Beck's touring band, including the Moog Cookbook's Roger Manning. Air's Moon Safari album has garnered rave reviews. The duo's next release, the single "All I Need," is set for a September 21 release in Europe. A remix of "Kelly, Watch The Stars" by the Moog Cookbook will be included on the single.
