Saliva Back On The Road After Illness Forces Cancellations
05/30/2001 4:00 PM, Yahoo! Music Darren Davis
(5/30/01, 4 p.m. ET) -- Saliva has rescheduled its Little Rock, Arkansas date for July 9. The original date, May 21, was canceled because a few of the members of the band, including guitarist Wayne Swinney, were ill. Swinney had to have his appendix removed. Also scratched were the band's opening sets for Fuel on May 22 in Springfield, Missouri and May 23 in Wichita, Kansas.
In spite of those cancellations, Saliva continued its tour with radio festival dates on the weekend. The group is set to head back out on the road on Saturday (June 2) at the Polaris Amphitheater in Columbus, Ohio. Saliva's tour takes them across the country through July 15 in Sacramento, California.
