112 Returns With A Hot New Single

(12/11/00, 1 p.m. ET) - Platinum R&B quartet 112 is back with a new single, "It's Over Now," from its still-untitled third album, which is due March 6. The new song was written by 112 and produced by group member Daron.
Group member Mike recently summed up the song. "Pretty much what the song is talking about is we caught our girls cheating. You know, in a nutshell, we caught our girls cheating and basically we're done with it," he explained. "You know, it's, like, that's one thing that we can not allow, you know, because we do so much for 'em. We give them whatever they want. We spend the quality time with them. We sit up under them and listen to them...You know how women like to talk."
112 recently shot a video for the single with director Chris Robinson. Daron shared his thoughts about the final product with LAUNCH. "Just me, personally, I would say that it is one of our best videos ever because of the energy and the time we took to prepare in doing the video," he said, "as far as the choreography and just trying to really be on point as performers in the video. And it's basically just, in a sense, telling the whole story about, you know, you came in from out of town, caught your girl cheating, and it's over."
112's two previous albums, 1996's 112 and 1998's Room 112, have both been certified platinum, with the latter reaching double-platinum status for sales of 2 million copies.
