Warped Venue Change Today, Bosstones' 'Human Cannonball' Grounded In NYC

(7/26/00, 10 a.m. ET) - Due to inclement weather, the Warped Tour has changed its venue for today's (July 26) show in Hampton, Virginia, from the Langley Raceway to the indoor Hampton Coliseum at 1000 Coliseum Drive.

In other Warped news, fans attending the New York show didn't get to witness the "human cannonball" that is part of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones' set on the tour, and now that the show has moved indoors, fans in Virginia might not, either. Horn player Tim Burton told LAUNCH after their set on Monday (July 24): "What I heard is that they wouldn't allow it here," he said. "I have a feeling that [in] Manhattan there are a lot of people willing to shoot themselves out of cannons. It's the second show he hasn't done it. The first was [when] we were in a tent and he didn't have room."
