Ex-Verve Frontman Richard Ashcroft 'Alone With Everybody' On June 27

(4/27/00, 7 a.m. ET) - Former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft will release his solo debut Alone With Everybody June 27 on Virgin Records. The first single will be "A Song For The Lovers," which has already hit Number Three on the U.K. singles chart.

Ashcroft co-produced the album. The second single in the U.K will be "Money To Burn," and it should be released there June 12.

Ashcroft has one gig scheduled for the V2000 festival in England, which takes place the weekend of August 19-20.
