Phil Vassar Takes A Bride

(3/28/02, 5 p.m. ET) -- Phil Vassar married fellow songwriter Julie Wood in a private ceremony on a beach in Naples, Florida Tuesday (March 26) after a long engagement.
The couple, who have been dating on and off for some time now, co-wrote Vassar's latest radio single, "That's When I Love You," which sits at Number Nine this week on Billboard's Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.
Cutting his honeymoon short, Vassar is slated to perform his latest single this Saturday (March 30) on CMT's Most Wanted Live.
The couple plan to reside in Nashville.
