(10/23/01, 6 p.m. ET) -- The Family Values tour hits New Jersey's Continental Airlines Arena tonight (October 24), and New York City-area fans just may be in for a surprise. At one of the tour's Chicago dates (October 12), Richard Patrick and his band Filter joined Stone Temple Pilots on stage for a rendition of "Hey Man Nice Shot."
Not only was the crowd pleased, but others on the bill, Linkin Park and Static X, watched the historic pairing. The tour also features Staind and Deadsy.
Filter is a veteran of Family Values, having appeared on the 1999 bill with bands such as System Of A Down, Staind, and Limp Bizkit.
