(2/2/00, 5 p.m. ET) - Elvis Costello and Blondie's Deborah Harry are among the guests on the forthcoming album from Roy Nathanson, who is perhaps best known as the saxophonist in the critically acclaimed Jazz Passengers. The Fire At Keaton's Bar & Grill, due out on March 14 on the Six Degrees Records label, is a concept album that will tell the stories of the clientele of a local watering hole.

Both Costello and Harry have a history with Nathanson, as both were on the 1996 Jazz Passengers album Individually Twisted . Harry also recorded and toured extensively with the band in 1994. Costello will narrate The Fire At Keaton's Bar & Grill, while Harry will play a bartender. Other guests on the album include Psychedelic Furs/ Love Spit Love leader Richard Butler, jazz pianist Cyrus Chestnut, blues guitarist/vocalist Corey Harris, and noted jazz vocalist Nancy King.

The Six Degrees label releases an eclectic mix of music from a diverse roster of artists, including Peter Himmelman¸ Willy Porter, Kirsten Bråten Berg, DJ Cheb I Sabbah, Banco De Gaia, Mary-Chapin Carpenter, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Marc Cohn, John Zorn, Bela Fleck, and Mavis Staples, among others.
