(10/19/01, 5 p.m. ET) --Mudvayne has decided to rerelease its 1997 EP, Kill I Oughtta, under the new name The Beginning Of All Things To End. The set is slated for a November 20 release, and it contains several bonus tracks not on the original release. The new version features interludes from the band's full-length Epic debut, L.D. 50, and remixes of "Dig" by Rhys Fulber of Front Line Assembly. Tracks on The Beginning Of All Things To End include: "Pooploser," "Seed," "Cultivate," "Some Assembly Required," "I.D.I.O.T.", "Central Disposal," "Coal," "Fear," "Dig (Future Evolution Mix)," "Dig (Everything And Nothing Remix)," and "L.D. 50."
Mudvayne is also set to release its first DVD, L(ive) D(osage) - Live In Peoria, on December 11. The collection will contain more than 90 minutes of live performances, behind-the-scenes footage of the band, and a director's cut of the video for "Death Blooms."
The band hails from Peoria, and LAUNCH asked vocalist Kud if the band's hometown factors into Mudvayne's music. "Absolutely," he says. "There's nothing high- gloss about Peoria, Illinois, or central Illinois. It's not Tinseltown, that's for sure. We come from blue-collar areas and stuff where the value of a dollar means that. You earn it and that's what it's all about. It's hard living and hard times for lots and lots of people, but it's like that everywhere."
