Silverchair, Men At Work, Savage Garden Saluted By Australia With Stamps

(4/12/01, 5 p.m. ET) -- Australia Post, the mail delivery service Down Under, is commemorating some of its biggest and most distinguished rock artists and songs. Ten stamps, each with a specific artist and hit song, are being offered--including Silverchair's "Tomorrow," INXS's "Original Sin," Savage Garden's "Truly, Madly, Deeply," and Men At Work's "Down Under." A set of stamps, 45 cents Australian, is being sold for $4.50; and other packages, comprising more stamps for more money, are available. The stamps are also available through the Australia Post website.
