(10/6/99, 1 p.m. PDT) - Sugar Ray, Edwin McCain, and Kid Rock are set to join forces for a concert at New York's Roseland Ballroom on Oct. 26 to benefit the Families Against Mandatory Minimums Foundation, a non-profit organization which is dedicated to abolishing mandatory jail sentences for drug offenses.

Tickets to the "Rock For Justice" concert, which was announced today by the trio's Lava Records label, range from $25 for general admission to $150, which will gain fans passage to a pre-show party where they can rub elbows with the concert artists, plus access to a special VIP area and a special concert laminate. A mid-range ticket which includes entrance to the concert and access to the VIP section is also available for $75.

"I'm proud to have the support of these terrific Lava artists in the name of Families Against Mandatory Minimums," Lava president and FAMM board of directors member Jason Flom said in a press release. "Their commitment to sentencing justice and this event is inspirational.

"More than simply raising money, we hope to raise public awareness of the inequities of our justice system and to encourage people to raise their voices in protest," Flam added. "Only through the support of a resounding public outcry can we end the pain that draconian mandatory minimums have brought to so many Americans."

General admission tickets for the show are currently available through TicketMaster, while VIP tix can be obtained by sending a check or money order (made payable to FAMM) to Lava Records, 1290 Avenue Of The Americas, 23rd floor, New York, N.Y. 10104, or calling (212) 707-2553.
