(6/19/01, 3 p.m. ET) -- Shaquille O'Neal performed a rendition of Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock's platinum 1988 hit "It Takes Two" at the L.A. Lakers victory parade Monday (June 18) in front of the Los Angeles Staples Center.
In helping celebrate his team's second consecutive championship win, O'Neal's performance included background dancing from teammates, including Kobe Bryant wearing Jerry West's jersey, and shooting a water gun.
O'Neal is scheduled to release his fifth studio release, Shaquille O'Neal Presents His Super Friends September 11 on Trauma and T.W.Is.M. Records. The first single "Connected" featuring W.C. and Nate Dogg has already been released. The album includes additional collaborations with Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Black Rob, Common, Jayo Felony, Trina, and Twista.
