Everlast Doesn't Know What His Next Album's Like

(2/25/00, 10 a.m. ET) - "I'm about halfway done with my new record," Everlast explained backstage at the Grammy Awards. "It sounds like hopefully the next step from where I went last time. It's still in progress. I don't know what it's going to be like finished, but I don't want to copy what I've already done."

The album should be out sometime this year. A spokesperson from Everlast's label, Tommy Boy, tells LAUNCH that, as of press time, there is no official title of the album, nor is it listed on their release schedule.

Everlast's Whitey Ford Sings The Blues has sold more than 2 million copies thanks to the smash hit, "What It's Like." Everlast's collaboration with Santana, "Put Your Lights On," from the legendary guitarist's Supernatural, took home the Grammy for best rock performance by a duo or group with vocal at Wednesday (Feb. 23) night's ceremony (LAUNCH, 2/23).
