Courtney Love's court hearing was postponed Tuesday (January 27), after the singer/actress had a private meeting with the judge, the AP reports. Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox spoke to Love and her attorneys for eight minutes before her hearing on two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance. Fox decided to delay the proceedings until February 11, saying an additional investigation was required on the matter. It was the second time the hearing has been delayed.
Outside the courthouse, Love told reporters she is planning a tour in support of her solo album, America's Sweetheart, scheduled for release in February.
Love pleaded not guilty to felony charges of illegal possession of two prescription painkillers--Vicodin and OxyContin--which were discovered while she was being treated at a hospital for a drug overdose on October 2.
Love was additionally charged with two misdemeanor drug counts, also on October 2, after she was arrested while trying to break into the home of her former boyfriend and manager, Jim Barber.
