P.O.D. Seeing Platinum In Canada

(12/28/01, 5 p.m. ET) - P.O.D.'s platinum album, Satellite, looks to be nearing such status north of the border as well. The album has already been certified gold in Canada--for sales reaching 50,000--and is closing in on platinum status from 100,000 sold thanks to its sustained popularity.
Platinum status in the United States, of course, acknowledges 1 million albums sold.
P.O.D. caps off its most successful year yet with an appearance tonight (December 31) on MTV's New Year's Eve broadcast.
