(12/28/01, 1 p.m. ET) -- MC Hammer, who has spent the last few months promoting his latest album Active Duty and VH1 movie Too Legit: The MC Hammer Story, looks forward to the holiday time of the year.
The rapper told LAUNCH that during Christmas and New Years, he looks forward to hanging out with his children. "Nothing but me and the kids for, you know, six or seven days. We'll take that time off to celebrate, reflect, be thankful for the true meaning of Christmas--the celebration of Christ. We're going to do that, and that's what the holidays mean," he said.
Active Duty was released on November 20. Proceeds from the album's first single, "No Stopping Us Now--U.S.A.," will be donated to the September 11 terrorist attack relief funds.
